Sony DSC-W55 Digital Camera

Sony DSC-W55 cybershot digital camera makes you fall in love with it at the first site. I know that it is one of plenty of different cameras from Sony series of digital cameras, but this one looks special. First of all it is thin & that makes it look elegant.
I compared the price & quality of other products of the kind & I buy what is more convenient. But Sony DSC-W55 Digital Camera was convenient, & it isn’t much considering the fact that it has a lot of great features & 7,2 Mega Pixels. Its dimensions are 88.9 x 57.1 x 22.9mm & it weights only 116g. i am liking that because I can carryover it in my pocket, specially now during the winter when I wear jackets & I don’t have to carryover around bags nor similar stuff. it is great to be able to carryover a camera with me all the time, although I must admit that sometimes I forget to take it.
You can get it in several different colors like black, silver, blue (really lovely pale blue) & pink of course. it is stylish. It comes with with 58mb internal memory which is to make approximately 16 photos), camera strap, Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery (NPBG1) which can last for a long time, even for days if you turn off the camera each time you don’t need it, the stand by mode consumes a bunch of energy, battery charger, USB cable with which you can transfer photos from camera on your computer, AV cable, instructions & application, but usually every computer will recognize the camera even without installing the program.
It has a Clear RAW NR method which optimizes colors of the photos by making the camera more sensitive to the light & reduces the noises. That’s great because this camera can also record movies, you can also record movies with sound & they can be as long as your memory card allows them to be because of the memory. Like most other cameras it has an on screen guide which is easy to use, the screen is 2.5″ LCD. It has a bunch of different zooms; Optical Zoom 3x, Precision, Digital Zoom 6x, Smart Zoom 5M (3.6x), 3M (Approx.4.5x), 2M (Approx.5.6x), VGA (Approx.14x), 16:9 (Approx.4.8x). There are also plenty of different modes of shooting like: Twilight, Twilight Portrait, Soft Snap, Landscape, Beach, Snow, High Sensitivity, but I mostly use Beach & Twilight.
i am liking that this camera is fast, when you turn it on it needs less than 2 seconds & you can start making photos already which is kind a important because sometimes you require to take a picture of a certain moment & and as the moment lasts for short period it isn’t easy to catch it, so a quick camera means a lot in these kind a situations.
Tthere are several types of flash that you can set like Auto, Forced-Flash, Slow Synchro, & No Flash. It isn’t easy to learn when to use flash & when not to. sometimes when I put my camera on Auto it ‘decides’ that the picture needs flash & then the picture becomes blur so i have to turn off the flash, even in the dark on the concerts, it is much better not to use flash even if it is night. & sometimes, even during the day it is better to use it although the Auto mode wouldn’t use it. So I usually set my camera on Auto Flash & if the picture becomes blur I turn off or on the flash, dependently on what the Auto mode did I do the opposite thing & my photos come out fine.

I am satisfied with this camera, it has a lovely elegant & stylish design & it is also trendy, it has a bunch of great features & it is also easy to use because it has everything draw on it so you don’t even have to read the instructions, at least I haven’t but that meant taking a bunch of pics before getting the perfect pics. & I must say that pics are perfect, even if you don’t make them in perfect settings because this camera is sensitive to light so it makes the best pics possible. I am perfectly happy with it & I would like to recommend it to everyone who wants a lovely & functional camera.
